Most UH dissertations and theses are available from the library, but not necessarily all in one place. Note also that not every single dissertation or thesis ever completed at UH is available in Hamilton Library. Still, we have many thousands of them. See below.

If you don't find a particular title or author, contact the experts in our Hawaiian Collection for assistance, regardless of the subject area. Also, many of the UH dissertations and theses are now available in our ScholarSpace institutional repository. There are over 8,500 submissions.
For dissertations and theses from other universities around the world, use our ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database. This excellent resource has millions of works from thousands of universities (including the University of Hawaii).
