What should I do if the book I need is listed in OneSearch as "Not Available" at UH Mānoa Library?

Answer

If you find a physical book in OneSearch, but the record indicates that it is "Not available" at UH Mānoa Library, you can still request the item. First, make sure you are signed in with your UH username. Then, in the "How to Get" section of that catalog record, place a Request on the Physical Item. You will be next in the queue and will be notified when the book is ready for pick up at your chosen UH library location.

Note: If a copy of the same book is available at another UH campus library, you can use the same Request feature to have the item sent from the other campus library to Hamilton Library. You will be notified when the book is ready for pick up at Hamilton Library. This usually takes a just a couple/few days. If you need it right away and you are on the same island, you can just go to that campus library (for example, Kapiolani CC) and borrow it from there directly.
