Where can I find an executive order issued by a Hawaii governor?
Answer
Gubernatorial executive orders can be found in many places depending on how old they are.
- Older EOs are at the Hawaii State Archives in the papers of each governor. They have not been digitized and you must go in person to view or scan them.
- The Internet Archive's Wayback Machine captured each governor's website from 1998 to the present. Executive orders issued by each governor during this period may be found on his or her website.
- EOs related to airports can be found on the Airports Division website.
- The Legislative Reference Bureau has links to some EOs in its online catalog.
